From 2004 to 2005, I worked with Facepunch Studios on the sound design and music for Facewound, an indie side-scrolling shooter game with a retro aesthetic. The game got shelved before it was completed, with a playable alpha copy released to the public.
While doing some hard-drive archaeology earlier this year, I realized that I still had most of the FL Studio files for this project. I cleaned up some of the mixess, remastered everything, and finished a remix that I wasn’t super happy with. Ten plus years too late, I’ve released it. I even filmed a playthrough video.
